WHO WE ARE
Mr. Basil S. Katsaros, MAI, SRA, founded WestTerra as a sole proprietorship in 1976. Over the past 30+ years, Mr. Katsaros assembled a team of some of the areas' finest real estate professionals, firmly establishing WestTerra as one of Colorado's leading appraisal and consulting firms. His participation on national ethics and government relations committees has given the firm invaluable insight into federal legislation governing appraisal reports. Mr. Katsaros has also served on an appraisal advisory board to the Resolution Trust Corporation. He acted as a national director of the Appraisal Institute, the leading appraisal organization, and served as an instructor for its Standards of Professional Practice seminars held in various parts of the country. Effective January 1, 2017, Chris Koloskus became president of WestTerra, Inc.
Mr. C.P. Koloskus became President of the firm as of January 1, 2017. He has been with WestTerra since 1980. He has 39 years of real estate valuation and consulting experience and started his career with Capitol Federal Savings in 1972. He is a graduate of the University of Denver with a degree in Economics and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Denver Business School and the Senior Advanced Economics Course at East High School in Denver. His projects include complex eminent domain cases and commercial / apartment cases.
